Zack Brown is an award winning lighting designer working in the entertainment and event industries for over fifteen years. He has a vast amount of experience to draw on and is quick to respond and adapt to changes with good humor and a calm demeanor.

Specialties
All aspects of Lighting Design including: knowledge of moving and LED lighting, programming (GrandMA2, ETC, Martin Light Jockey), system design, power distribution, budgeting, crewing, and time management. Zack has also worked with all types of crews including community service, student, volunteer, Local 1 IATSE, Local 52 Film and TV, and Local 3 IBEW. Also: Vectorworks 2D/3D, Media Design, Hiretrack, Lightwright, Drafting, Photography, and able to Read Music

A few of Zack's lighting design credits include: Classic Stage Co.'s Romeo and Juliet; Catch's Catch27, Catch .45 and WWYLMBG; Shakespeare on the Sound's Julius Caesar and Comedy of Errors; Curtain Call Theatre's The Sweepers; St Peter's College's Urinetown and Littls Shop Of Horrors; NYU's Gem of the Ocean, and A Month In The Country; Cincinnati Shakespeare Co.'s Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train, The Gimmick, and Jacob Marley's Christmas Carol; NYU Musical Theatre Dept.'s Cheer Wars.

In 2010, Zack worked as a Lighting Production Manager for Bentley Meeker Lighting and Staging. He was responsible for lighting/producing all aspects of lighting for events ranging from small private parties to large corporate multi-day meetings and product releases. Some of the venues he works in include: Lincoln Center Tent, American Museum of Natural History, Plaza Hotel, Ellis Island, Metropolitan Club, Yankee Stadium, Museum of the City of New York

He has won several awards for design including two Jackies from the Cincinnati Enquirer, the Kennedy Center ACTF Barbizon Region IV Design Award in 2001 and 2002, and was given "Props" by the New York Times for his lighting of the Catch Series' WWYLMBG.
